I am a (Machine Learning) Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. My primary field is Econometrics.

The increased size, complexity, and dimensionality of research datasets create both new opportunities and new challenges for economists. My research contributes to the growing body of work on how best to find meaning in such datasets. Specifically, I work on dimensionality reduction and factor models.

I also work on causal inference in panel data models, and have lately been particularly interested in discrimination and algorithmic fairness.
